Hello dear kiwis,
Looking back on the past plenary meetings, we would like to apologize for the unpredictably chaotic
and emotionally charged evening.
Therefore, we would like to go into detail about the reason why this was held and will continue on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 at 5:00 p.m in the bar.
At the beginning of each semester, your former dorm council organizes a full dorm assembly, in which the residents can be elected and voted for the positions of the council. Furthermore, all relevant information from the past semester will be presented at the meeting.
In order to comply with the official requirements of the City of Hamburg, it is mandatory at the next event that every person who is present shows either their vaccination certificate or their health certificate upon admission. We will let you know in advance exactly where the entrance is. If you are not vaccinated, you are not allowed to attend the event in person. Shortly before the start of the meeting, however, a zoom link will be forwarded to the e-mail distribution list.
In order to be able to hold the general assembly, it is mandatory that at least 15% of the residents are present. So your presence is crucial! Powers of attorney are only allowed if the 15% is not reached. After that, the powers of attorney are no longer necessary.
Since the communications have suffered distance due to the pandemic, among other things, we will hereby provide you with all the relevant information regarding the assembly and the dorm council.
The positions for which you can be set up are listed in bullet points below. Further information can be found in the appendix. Of course you can also contact us.
Any resident of the residential complex who lives in the Kiwi for at least one semester and wants to promote social interaction can apply.
The following positions are available:
1. First Chair
2. Second presidency
5. House committee
6. House Admissions Committee
7. Common areas
You can also apply for the following tutorials:
coffee and cake
There is also information on this in the appendix.
If you are interested in starting a free AG (Arbeitsgemeinschaft), you are welcome to present it at the plenary meeting and integrate it into everyday life, depending on your interests. Anything that catches your interest is conceivable for this. For example an AG that goes on excursions once a month or a bicycle AG.
If you are interested in one of the positions, or if you are just interested in spending an afternoon in the bar and getting to know other neighbors, we look forward to seeing you in large numbers on December 5th, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can always contact us.
We look forward to you!
